Welcome Adventure Golf Blackpool

Blackpool’s latest attraction is open on the Golden Mile and will bring hours of fun for budding golfers.

Enter the undersea themed cavern for a game of adventure golf but keep your eye on the ball as the legend of the Golden Isle unfolds while you play among shipwrecks, pirate ghosts and giant octopuses on two levels. Play after dark and the course is brought to life with sound and lighting to add to the atmosphere. Who will be the winner? Ideal for all ages you certainly don’t have to be a keen golfer to enjoy Blackpool’s newest attraction that the weather can’t spoil!

Braised lamb shank in red wine and rosemary
An individual tender lamb foreshank in a red and rosemary jus with a mirepoix of chunky potato, carrot, onion, celery and swede.

Chicken with mushroom in a white wine sauce
British chicken supreme in a light creamy white wine sauce with mushrooms

Slow cooked pork hock
Fall from the bone succulent and tender slow cooked pork served with a rich cider and apple sauce.

Beef in peppercorn
Tender beef in a delicously rich sauce flavoured with red wine, brandy and peppercorns..

Salmon Supreme with Hollandaise suace
Skinless Scottish salmon in a delicate creamy classic Hollandaise sauce.

Cannelloni with ricotta, Spinach and Goats cheese (v)
Filled ricotta cheese cannelloni in a rich creamy spinach and goats cheese sauce.

Roasted vegetable and Wensleydale bake (v)
Roasted red onion, parsnip, butternut squash, carrot and potato wedges in a rich Wensleydale cheddar cheese sauce topped with a paprika cheese crumb.

All main courses served with a choice of mashed potato, seasoned potato wedges, or French fries, and served with chefs vegetables of the day.

Welcome to Farmer Parrs Animal World

Farmer Parrs Animal World, Fleetwood is an award winning visitor’s centre which offers something for every age group. Open every day from 10.00 am till 5.00 pm, it is easily accessible being only one hundred yards from the A585, and having a large car park which can accommodate coaches.

There are more than fifty different species of animal at Farmer Parrs Animal World, housed in over thirty thousand square feet of undercover attractions and twelve acres of paddocks and walkways. The play barn provides a large undercover area for play and is home to a variety of animals including fish, reptiles, birds, guinea pigs, and rabbits. Other facilities include toilets, hand wash area, disabled toilets, baby changing facilities, playground, picnic area and water gardens. Most areas have good disabled access, the paddocks are accessible only from grass paths.

The cafe and gift shop boasts an excellent reputation and is open to non-visitors. Children’s birthday parties are a specialty and we have a large function room available for group bookings or private hire.

As well as having a large variety of animals, Farmer Parrs Animal World is the home of The Fylde Country Life Museum and The Pottery Studio which is run by the Autism Initiatives

Our aim is “to provide an opportunity for all visitors to gain a ‘hands on’ experience of farm animals, whilst educating and stimulating in a safe environment.

After it’s recent £500k refurbishment, the former Stanley Arms relaunched in May 2008 as The Stanley Bar & Cabaret.

Frequented by holidaymakers and locals alike, Thwaites

newest live entertainment venue has built it’s reputation for many years as one of Blackpool’s most popular drinking establishments and now proudly hosts it’s very own cabaret style show featuring resident host Brad Leigh-Scott, the ‘Emmi J’ dancers and some of the North West’s leading comedy and vocal acts.

Manager Michael Sugden and his team await you offering a wide choice of draught and bottled beers, ciders, wines and spirits in lavish new surroundings including waiter service on show nights. The Stanley also features a brand new ’smoking room’ accessed through the main room, part-covered and heated all year round.

Situated merely a stone’s throw from Blackpool’s promenade and Central Pier, The Stanley’s location welcomes visitors from all around offering the best live entertainment day and night including non-stop Karaoke every weekend (Fri-Sun until 2nd Nov), musical comedy with Roy Roland Mon-Fri from 1.30pm (until 31st Oct) and full cabaret floor-show Sunday-Thursday from 8.45pm (until 30th Oct).
